It was a cold Saturday morning… I lined up at the starting line with about 70 people… mostly strangers. I could tell by looking at their twiggy legs that I was going to finish in the back of this pack… but I didn’t know how badly I would actually finish. High 60s out of 70… I was greatly out run by people more than double my age. Now first off… good for them! But I realized just how out of shape I had let myself get…it was time to get on my A game!
I got hooked on the Biggest Loser…I started spinning…doing yoga…cutting back on bacon and craptastic food…and GASP! I cut back on my alcohol consumption. I’m feeling great…but what will really help my ego is the ability to run a 5K in 27 minutes! 5K training is about to begin and I’m taking prisoners! Coworkers… friends… fellow Bear Country DJs (some not so happy about it) have been enlisted to train with me too!

PLUS – I have aquired a video camera…my co workers may hate it…but I’ll be “vlogging” our experiences/different kinds of work outs we try to boost our stamina…prepare for comical moments!
