WHATELY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — No injuries were reported after a race car caught fire in an enclosed trailer on Long Plain Road in Whately Sunday afternoon. The race car quickly became fully engulfed in flames, however quick response from the property owners and fire department kept the fire from damaging anything else on the property.
