Cutest Couple Contest Rules 2026


  • These are the rules governing the Cutest Couple contest on radio stations WHAI, WPVQ-FM, WIZZ-AM, EZ107.5 and WPVQ-AM (The Outlaw.)  This group of radio stations shall be referred to as the Western Mass Media Group. The grand prize will be a new love seat from Lazy River Furniture & Mattress Outlet in Greenfield MA,  valued at $599.00.
  • There is no purchase necessary to become eligible to win.
  • This contest is running simultaneously on radio stations WHAI, WPVQ-FM, WIZZ-AM, EZ107.5 and WPVQ-AM (The Outlaw.)    Listeners of all stations are competing for ONE grand prize.  Contest runs from February 7th, 2026 through February 25th, 2026.
  • To be eligible to win the grand prize, you must submit a “cute couple” photo.  This photo can represent whatever you think a “cute couple” is.  A romantic couple, a parent and child, a pet and pet owner, etc.
  • Only one entry is allowed per person.
  • Entries must be submitted through one of the station websites, www.whai.comwww.bear953.comwww.outlaw923.comwww.ez1075.com or www.pureoldiesgreenfield.com.   The entry period is February 7th, 2026 through midnight February 13th, 2026.
  • From 2/14/26 through 2/19/26, listeners of the radio stations will be able to vote for their favorite “cutest couple” photo on any of the station websites. Listeners can vote once per day during the voting period.   A vote on any of the websites constitutes a vote for the day. Listers cannot vote once a day on EACH website.

 

  • On February 20th, 2026, the four photos with the most votes will advance to a second round of voting, with the vote counts resetting to zero.

 

  • The second round of voting runs from 2/20/26 through midnight 2/24/26. The same voting rules apply. On 2/25/26, the photo with the most votes wins the grand prize. In case of a tie, the winner will be determined by a random drawing of the tied entries.
  • Winner can take possession of the grand prize from Lazy River Furniture in Greenfield after 2/25/26.
  • Western Mass Media Group contests are open to all eligible Massachusetts/New Hampshire/Vermont residents 18 years or older that have not won anything on any of the stations in the past 30 days or any prize valued at $600 or more in the past 6 months.   Only one winner per household is permitted within 30 days after a household has a winner.  Any prize awarded to an ineligible listener will be deemed null and void, and an alternate eligible winner may be named.
  • Employees of the Western Mass Media Group, Saga Communications of New England, and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the WHAI/WPVQ main studios are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.
  • All federal, state, and local laws and regulations apply.
  •  The Western Mass Media Group, Saga Communications of New England LLC, its parent corporation, Saga Communications, Inc., their agencies, employees, and representatives absolve themselves and shall be held harmless from any action or liability arising from the Cutest Couple contest or the prize awarded in said contest.
  • Winner is responsible for all taxes on prize awarded.  Winner must fill out the appropriate tax forms at the WHAI/WPVQ studios, and provide a valid photo ID before receiving the prize.
  • Entrants must meet other legal requirements detailed in the official rules, to grant permission to use entrant’s name and likeness without compensation and to sign a release. This contest is subject to federal, state and local laws.  All of WHAI/WPVQ general contest rules posted on the web site also apply to this promotion. The Western Mass Media Group reserves the right in its sole discretion to supplement or make changes to the rules of any contest at any time without notice and reserves the right to interpret the rules of any contest, and such interpretation shall be binding upon all participants.
