At Home Day #2

Guess who has to stay home until April 6th? Me! Lucky I get to broadcast Bear in the Morning from my Dining Room. Here is how At Home Day #2 went…..
So it snowed last night….This is a photo of my backyard, my prized shed and woodpiles. We got a lot more snow than I thought we would get. About 6 inches of the heavy wet stuff. It should be gone by afternoon, right?

So one of the big topics this morning on Bear Country 95.3 was Governor Baker’s order of all non-essential employees needing to stay home for the foreseeable future. Wondering if you are non-essential? Find the official list here. Thanks to Mik at Montague Webworks for some useful information this morning.
At home learning continued today with Connor and Amelia. We are finding it tough to stick to a daily schedule. There is a reason we are not a home school family!
Connor will have a home school update tomorrow morning at 7:50 and will also offer his Minecraft report.
I had to get out of the house and take a drive today. Where does one go when everything is closed? How about the town dump? I have never been to the dump on a Tuesday afternoon. No lines. No waiting. No reason to be 10 feet away from anyone.
. One of my goals for this year was to run a half marathon. The one I have signed up for in April has been postponed to a day in September. A day I am not available. That doesn’t stop me from training. I got a quick 3 mile run in this afternoon. At Home Day #2 is in the books. I don’t like it. I am not one to stay still, but that is what we are all going to have to do for a while. Or at the very least, make sure all our activities are solo or just with family. Can we do this? By the way, the snow didn’t melt. -Kevin
