At Home Day #3

So the Governor Charlie Baker said today that schools will not open in Massachusetts until May 4th at the earliest. Parents with kids out there, I hear your cries. They have not made that decision here in New Hampshire. I am sure it is only a matter of time though.
We are trying our hardest with this new normal, but we all find it hard to concentrate in our home as we work and try to provide some sort of education for our kids.

Earlier today during Bear in the Morning, I mentioned our new online contest at the Bear Country 95.3 website. We call it Pet Madness! Thanks to Coldwell Banker Community Realtors and Meineke Car Care Center of Greenfield for helping to make this happen. So Bear Country 95.3 is looking for photos of your pets. Here are ones that we are supplying that call our house home.

This is Noodle.Who doesn’t love an orange kitty? This is our third orange cat. He is Connor’s cat. He is as affectionate as can be and has been doing a good job bothering me as I broadcast from the dining room table.
This is ZoeyZoey is an excellent napper. In fact, I rarely see this cat walking around much at all. She is quick to spot a full laundry basket to catch a nap.
And finally, Tigger. 23 out of the 24 hours in the day, Tigger can be found under our bed, which is where these photos were taken.
So there you have it,our pets in our small home. I don’t think those photos will win any awards, but photos of your pets might! Submit you pet photos here and good luck! -Kevin

Robert De Niro delivers Lincoln’s civility warning at a Carnegie Hall benefit

Robert De Niro walked onto Carnegie Hall's stage Tuesday night, unannounced and to loud applause. He didn't make any speeches, at least none of his own. After a career defined by playing gangsters, an avenging taxi driver and a paranoid prize fighter, the Oscar-winning actor recited a call for civility, as first spoken by Abraham Lincoln.
