My long weekend in six photos.

It is good to get away every now and then. Isn’t it?

We took a long weekend and hit a bunch of spots that I have never been to before.

The first spot isn’t too far away, and I am almost embarrassed to say I have never been to the top of Mount Greylock before last Saturday.

It was a beautiful spot to be on such a hot summer day. And the view was spectacular!

This is looking south. Springfield and Hartford Connecticut are in the distance.

After staying in Bennington Vermont for the night we moved on to Saratoga, New York and saw the horses run on Sunday.

I had never been. It is a great spot to people watch and throw down a couple of dollars on a horse you have never heard of. I lost $52 but won $79 on the last race. It cost $20 to park.

We stayed in Saratoga but took some day trips to the north to Lake George. I had never been, but I got a Hampton Beach vibe while there. Especially when Connor wanted to hit the arcades.

All those tickets that Connor won on the machines were turned in for two cheap squirt guns. These people who run arcades have quite the racket going. As long as the kids have fun……

I had fun at the Saratoga Auto Museum where they had a Ferrari exhibit.

According to the tour guide this car is insured for $30 million.

it is one of two in the world. I was nervous being ten feet away from it!

We got home in time yesterday for the big storm.

Have you noticed how it never just rains anymore, it only pours!

I hope you had a good weekend and start to your week! – Kevin
