My three day weekend in five photos.

Yes, I will have another if you don’t mind. Three days of great weather, lots of time outside and now ready to rock a four-day work week!

On Friday night we saw Connor’s last performance of Romeo and Juliet.

This was put on by his 8th grade class. It was the strangest version of Romeo and Juliet that I have ever seen, but that is not to say it was bad, in fact not bad at all for a bunch of 13-year-olds.

We did a lot of planting and landscaping on Saturday.

Not just flowers. But also, I put ten tomato plants into containers along with four watermelon plants. I know, weird combination but that is how we are rolling this year. I will keep you updated on the progress. Right now, we just have to remember to water everything. There is no rain in the forecast for days!

Abby and I walked down to town hall yesterday for the Memorial Day ceremony. Our town used to have a parade, but they have scaled back on the festivities over the past couple of years. That is OK. It was a nice, small ceremony honoring those that never made it back to Winchester, New Hampshire. As it is said, all gave some. Some gave all.

Yesterday was also Amelia’s Birthday!

My daughter is 11! She has done an incredible amount of growing over the past three years. She celebrated her birthday with friends by going axe throwing in Keene! Not exactly your typical birthday party! Even still, we had a small celebration at home with friends. I think she got everything she wanted. She just keeps smiling.

I noticed that some of the irises in Greenfield are starting to turn. Ours still look great along the driveway.

I hope you had a good weekend! -Kevin
