My weekend in 8 photos.

The weekend started with some winning and qualifying at Rustic Romance in Miller’s Falls. Not only could listeners to Bear Country 95.3 qualify to win TWO Spruce Up Prize Packages, but Cindy at Rustic Romance was also giving away $500 in gift cards during the broadcast!

Congratulations to all the winners and qualifiers! More information on the Spruce Up Prize Packages are here.

Saturday was house cleaning day so we could have a clean-free day for Mother’s Day. On Saturday night it was back to Monadnock Speedway for announcer duties.

It was a cold night at the track! The people you see in this photo are the hard-core fans. Once the sun went down it was downright chilly!

Yesterday, on Mother’s Day, my Kiwanis club offered a free Mother’s Day breakfast and I am happy to say that many people took us up on the offer.

These people were some hearty folk as well since the breakfast was at our outdoor pavilion.

After the breakfast we piled into the car and headed to Harrisville, NH to spend Mother’s Day at my in-laws. Spring is a little later there as Harrisville is a bit farther north. The daffodils were in full bloom and I could not help but take some photos.

My in-laws live on Harrisville Pond and the scenery was spectacular yesterday.

Just a nice relaxing afternoon which I think we all needed! Especially the moms.

BTW, if you visit Sunset Beach in Harrisville, you may see something we left in the trees.

Connor and his Grandpa thought it would be a good idea to fly a kite. Getting it caught in the trees was a not-so-go idea.

I hope you had a great weekend and a belated Happy Mother’s Day! -Kevin
