My weekend in eight photos

My weekend started off great! I have been coaching Connor’s soccer team and on Friday we had our last game. We got another win!

This is my first year coaching soccer at this level. I got a ton of help from my assistant coaches which I am forever thankful for, but in the end it was the players awesome effort that led us to a 6-3-2 season.
On Saturday I raked and mulched leaves. Not very exciting. No photos.
Sunday though, I woke up to our first frost.

A little frost on the pumpkin.

Do you have a part of your yard that you would rather your neighbors not see? I do, and it is now not viewable since I repurposed this piece of stockade fence.

Digging around the yard, I have found some rusty things. I found the saw blade at the dump. The license plate was at an old junk store.

Yesterday, Connor taught me a card game called Spit. Has anyone heard of this before? He plays with his classmates at school. At the very least, it does not involve a screen.

Apple season continues at our house. Amelia made this pie yesterday. I only helped a little.
Also yesterday, the heating season officially started at our house. The first fire in the wood stove.

Connor and Amelia celebrated the occasion and held on to warm weather thoughts by making smores.

I hope you had a good weekend! -Kevin
