My weekend in eight photos. Bonfire!

Do you have today off? Lucky!

It was a good weekend. The weather was great, I heard some great music and spent time with those I love.

Saturday started off with a run.

This was one of my preparation runs for the 6th Annual Happy Valley Half Marathon which is now six days away! Yikes! I will accept your positive thoughts about completing this run in a reasonable time. Thank you.

Saturday night was all about the Bonfire! Once again, I was asked to MC the show at the Hatfield Pavilion. I got there early to check out the sound check.

That is our friend Holly Mae up on stage with the band Ultimatum.

You can catch Ultimatum at spots in and around the Hamden and Hampshire area. But on Saturday they came to Hatfield to help get the party started.

This guy impressed the heck out of me.

His name is Warren Zeiders and he was excellent! 23 years old! He has had tremendous success with sharing his music online and through TikTok. I would recommend seeing this guy while his is still on the small stage. He will be in Boston on October 26th at the Paradise Rock Club. You should be there.

I got a chance to talk with Warren after his show. Super-nice guy! After he spoke with me, he went and met everyone in a long line of fans at his merchandise tent.

Of course, A Thousand Horses was great too!

And the fire kept everyone warm.

The Hatfield Firefighters Association does a great job setting up this show. I can’t wait to see what they have in store for 2023!

It was a wee bit chilly on Sunday morning.

It’s gonna get worse.

I hope you had a great weekend!

Kevin

Looking to see the solar eclipse from North America? Here’s where and when to catch a sliver

Sorry, North America. After winning the cosmic lottery with a pair of coast-to-coast total solar eclipses, now it's Europe's turn. But look skyward anyway Wednesday and, if you're far enough north in the U.S. and Canada, you might savor a partial eclipse as the moon nibbles away at the sun.
