My weekend in five photos

No headlines were made this past weekend. It was relatively calm over on our end, aside from a quick storm that came through on Saturday evening that took away some nice warm temperatures. It was so warm, I grabbed one of our plastic Adirondack chairs from storage to put down in the yard and enjoy an adult beverage.

The weather seemed to change by the minute on Saturday. Here was the view when we stopped by Manning Hill to get my chocolate milk fix.

Just wee bit foggy.

I have taken some initiative and started to clean up our local dog park. On Saturday, Connor and I needed a wheelbarrow for the chore.

It wasn’t pretty, but Abby the dog appreciated the effort.

I almost made it through the UCONN game on Saturday night. According to Connor, I started snoring with about 8 minutes left in the game. I woke up to see another win, this one which takes them to the finals tonight against San Diego State!

The game starts at 9:20 tonight which is WAY past my bedtime! I don’t know if I am going to make it. If I do, don’t be surprised if you hear some yawning tomorrow morning. (I would never do that on the radio)

I grew up about 25 minutes away from the UCONN campus. I never went to the school, but I have known many who have and still maintain a couple of connections, so I am in their corner. What else does someone from Connecticut get to claim which is great from the state?

Go UCONN!

I hope you had a great weekend.

Josh O’Connor usually hates watching his movies for the first time. ‘Disclosure Day’ was different

Josh O'Connor heard a quote once that said that Steven Spielberg was like "the director of every child's imagination." The British actor may not have grown up in a moviegoing family, but he was still very aware the Spielberg thing as a '90s kid. It's just in our psyche, O'Connor told The Associated Press in a recent interview.
