My weekend in five photos

This morning I was explaining how August 20th is a special day. It is our anniversary. Ann and I had dinner last night by the water at the Marina in Brattleboro.

17 years has gone by pretty quick. We have gone through a lot and there is a lot more to go! We talked about some adventures that we may be going on in the next year during dinner. I am excited!

August 20 is also the date of many friends’ birthdays. 20 is a good number!

On Saturday we saw a foam machine.

Evidently these are the new popular thing for kid’s parties. That is one way to get them clean!

Saturday night was spent at Monadnock Speedway.

It was another good night of racing. The highlight for me was seeing Dominic Stafford of Millers Falls win his first Pure Stock race. This is his first year in the division and on Saturday he dominated for 25 laps.

As many of the flowers are going past in the gardens, our Rose of Sharron just started blooming.

It is a small plant. We just got it a couple of years ago from Jennifer (of Bear Swaps fame) and Scott. It sure is worth the wait to watch bloom.

Go into any store advertising autumn/fall/Halloween. Here is my reaction.

Holding on to summer.

Hope you had a great weekend!

Kevin
