Morning Show

My weekend in five photos.

Get this. You are not going to believe it! I actually went away this weekend! Kinda far away. Away enough that Ann and I got to stay at a hotel!

We were in North Conway, New Hampshire and stayed at the North Conway Grand Hotel. I recently join my local Kiwanis Club and they had a big convention there this weekend. I sat through seminars and didn’t take many photos except for this one.

(Do you think there was any question it was a Kiwanis convention?
But I also took this one….

Ann is not in Kiwanis, but came along for the ride. The hotel had a spa so she got some relaxing time while I learned about helping kids all over the world.
We got home in time to see Amelia in her first cheerleading showcase.

This was my first experience witnessing one and, oh my. There were many enthusiastic parents and people there!
We sat in a big gym and far away. This was the best photo I took. Amelia is right in the center of this photo.

Even though we were far away I was happy to see my daughter smiling. At the beginning of each routine, each member of the group was introduced and had the opportunity to perform some sort of cheer move. Not everyone did it after their introduction, but Amelia did in front of everyone! I had a proud Dad moment. She did a cartwheel or perhaps a round-off. I am not exactly sure which is which. The most I know about cheerleading is what I see during a football game. Come to find out, there is more to it.
I hope you had a great weekend!
