My Weekend in Five Photos

Saturday, Ann and I celebrated our anniversary. To mark the occasion, Ann bought this beautiful hydrangea.

We picked out a perfect spot on our extremely DRY lawn and I dug the hole yesterday. I dug about a foot down and it is crazy how dry the soil was so far down into  the ground. Thankful to see some rain in the forecast today and tomorrow!

Not only was Saturday our anniversary, it was National Radio Day. As always, I thank you for listening. I wonder how many of you are listening on a radio like this?

Of course, it is a little difficult to pick up 95.3 on this one, but it is one of my favorites in our house and sits in our dining room.

On our visit to the farm on Saturday I walked past one of the hoop-houses and caught this site.

Thousands of onions drying for fall and winter. Some will find their way into recipes made in our kitchen!

My parents came down on Saturday. Not only were we celebrating our anniversary, but lots of our relatives gathered in Harrisville to celebrate my kid’s summer birthdays. My parents brought me this cool gift.

My sister actually found it where she works on Cape Cod. I have been on a bit of a Moxie kick lately so this was really neat to see. I wonder what kind of soda stories it could tell.

Yesterday, before my parents left to head back to the Cape, we got some family photos in. There are some happy people here. Change will be coming soon as the kids head back to school. So happy to see everyone smiling.

I hope you had a good weekend! -Kevin
