My weekend in four photos

It isn’t a weekend if it doesn’t rain!

I know a lot of people have been complaining about the foliage this fall. I have been doing my best to catch a couple colorful trees when I can. My neighbor’s maple tree never disappoints. I wish I took a photo of it before the rain brought down a lot of leaves.

One of the maples in our yard is slowly bringing out some color.

With the hardy mums in bloom below, this tree is just starting to get a bit brighter on the left side. This tree has grown a lot in the past couple of years and I have been appreciating it during the summer months. It provides some wonderful shade near Ann’s garden. I like to sit in that shade and watch the world go by.

On Saturday I spent 5 hours at a volleyball tournament. Amelia’s school team competed. I don’t think Amelia even knew what a volleyball looked like six weeks ago.

Her team did great. And Amelia was in on the action.

I am glad she found a sport she is comfortable with a school. She keeps surprising me! Proud Dad.

I hope you had a great weekend!
