My weekend in four photos.

Welcome to December. No, I am not ready.

Decorations were brought out of storage. The tree is not up yet. Three weeks from the big day.

The birdfeeders went up last weekend and I am happy to report that the birds have returned after a summer and fall of little to no bird activity in our yard.

I put up two suet feeders and caught this woodpecker on Saturday.

I zoomed in on this cardinal at our big feeder. Also, on Saturday.  The junkos and chickadees were plentiful at the feeders this weekend too.

I was worried because during the warm weather, the finches that normally flock to our space were non-existent. The feeders full and never touched. Weird.

Abby has a new friend.

This is Ruthie the Bernese Mountain Dog puppy that we meet at the town dog park. She ran Abby wild, and I am happy to say that our high-strung dog was wiped out for the rest of the day. Success!

Here is Sunday morning breakfast.

Broccoli and cheddar omelet with Louisiana hot sauce. Breakfast sausage from the local farm, Dave’s Killer Bread toast. Black coffee. I love breakfast.

I hope you had a good weekend!
