My weekend in four photos.

Growing up my dad had a 1972 red Ford F100. Someday I would like to own that truck. I found one close to it!

This is pretty close to the truck I remember! Unfortunately I don’t have an extra 15k sitting around right now. Dreams remain dreams.

On Saturday I ran the Montague Mug Race for the first time!

The Montague Fire Department was one of the groups that receives funds from this run and their trucks and personnel were along the 5.5 miles.

It was muggy and my pace was way off, but I still had a respectable time for my ability.

I like the prizes for this race. Women’s and Men’s overall winners get an engraved pewter mug. Division winners get ceramic mugs. I got a good workout.

You may have heard me mention my neighbor’s peach tree that is growing over the fence and onto my property. This tree is exploding with peaches. On Saturday night I took the peaches and made a cobbler for dessert.

It came out looking a bit blah but there was enough sugar, brown sugar and cinnamon to make it tasty.

I took this photo on Sunday morning.

It is a nice time of year.

I hope you had a good weekend!

Kevin
