My weekend in four photos

Isn’t it funny how it will depend on the month if a temperature is either hot or cold?

For instance, 50 degrees in June will have us putting on a jacket, closing the windows and reaching for the thermostat. But 50 degrees in February is a different story. It got that warm on Friday and it was time to roll the windows down..

Abby the dog enjoyed it immensely.

Connor and I got out of the house on Friday afternoon and were able to pick up some Valentine’s Day gifts.  Remember back in the day when Valentine’s day options were a heart shaped box of chocolates and flowers? Well, the candy people really upped their game.

We have been trying to get ahold of some color anywhere we can find it. I am happy to report that our amaryllis is flowering nicely.

Yesterday,  with a recent indoor soccer victory, the SuperBowl and food on my mind, I found out that a dear friend had passed. Everything is trivial until real life shows up at your doorstep.

Rest in peace, Chris. We miss you tremendously.
