My weekend in nine photos

Happy Halloween everyone. I don’t do costumes, but I will be handing out treats tonight at our house per usual. I will do my normal count and see if we break the 300 mark again!

We had our first fire in the woodstove on Friday.

This is much later in the season than normal. Overnight lows below freezing this weekend prompted me to start, but I am encouraged by the weather forecast this week. (70’s possible this upcoming weekend!)

On Saturday I was at Sonia’s in Orange looking for qualifiers for the $5000 cash giveaway. While there I fell in love with another truck!

I needed a stepladder to get into this one.

I am going to have to save a couple more pennies to ever afford this one. Nice to look at though as 82 people stopped by to try and qualify on a beautiful Saturday!

I stopped at Adams Farm on the way home and picked up some smoked kielbasa for dinner.

Potatoes and greens on my dinner plate came from Picadilly Farm in Winchester. Local is better!

Yesterday was dedicated to yard cleanup. Remember last week when I asked whether or not you clean up leaves on your lawn? I am a rakem’ up guy. Some still need to fall, but I got a lot done. I raked many right into the fire pit. I mulched a lot down too with the lawn tractor.

Poor Connor got the stomach bug this weekend. Instead of Halloween treats, he is getting this…

Poor kid !

I hope you had a good weekend. At least better than Connor!
