My weekend in six photos

20 degrees when I arrived at the studio this morning! No likey!

Another weekend bites the dust as we get closer to Thanksgiving and the holidays. Has anyone noticed that December has five Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays? I feel there will be some extra celebrating happening in our last month of the year.

Anyways on Friday afternoon, I finally stopped by….

I have been driving past this monster for the past three weeks as I head into Keene. It is in the parking lot of a shop that has just about everything you can think of, on sale. Do I need this? No. Do I want this? I think I do! Classic tractor with a homemade cab! It is an original. I have not asked about the price yet.

Saturday morning was spent cleaning up the yard. Everyone says leave the leaves on the ground over the winter. I hate that look. I equally hate fall yard cleanup though!

The fact that our home does not boarder any woods where one could haul leaves and garden cuttings results in numerous trips to the compost pile at the town dump.

No fun at all.

After a nice lunch on Saturday, our family got together to play this game.

Sorry about the horrible photo. You know I am not big on the board games but this one was pretty fun. There was a simple concept but winning involved some game experience which I clearly did not have! Here is a look at the board, mid-game.

My pieces are brown and in hindsight were not originally placed in a spot to improve my chances of winning. Maybe next time!

Sunday morning was cold and frosty. I took this photo on my morning walk with Abby. The chimney is letting off smoke from the woodstove as our home slowly heats up.

I hope you had a good weekend!
