My weekend in six photos

Another kinda spring-like weekend. Is it me or is it supposed to be warmer in late April?

On Saturday, after hosting the Checkered Flag Report show here on Bear Country 95.3, I headed up to Monadnock Speedway for their first practice of the year. I help out with announcing at the track so we were gathering some information about drivers and teams, etc.

During the offseason, the track built a new platform where VIP’s can watch the race.

What an awesome view! The racing season starts this Saturday and Sunday with action-packed races both days. I can’t wait!

April is all about firewood at our house. Yesterday was filled with  stacking wood to heat our home in the winters to come. A neighbor offered a tree they had just taken down so I had to add hauling and splitting to the list. I was exhausted buy the end of the day.

We are getting there.

The flag went up on the shed this weekend.

I know. I should fly the flag all year but I don’t like to fly the flag in the horrible weather in the winter. I looked good back on its spot on the shed.

That’s it. I hope you had a good weekend! -Kevin
