My weekend in six photos

I guess winter is finally here. For those of us who like a mild dry New England winter, we had a good run. But with the snow last Friday and today, it is time for snowballs, snowblowers and studded snow tires.

This is my neighbor’s barn. I was enjoying my coffee on Saturday morning when some snow slid off the roof and caught my attention.

You can only imagine how it sounded when the rest of the snow fell off that roof. Like an earthquake and there are only a couple of inches up there!

Never been a big fan of winter, but the snow stayed on all the limbs through the weekend and it made everything pretty.

Now that is what a backroad in New England should look like in January.

Connor has been on a hunt for this stuff.

Can someone explain to me what the obsession is with teenagers and this Prime drink? You can’t find it everywhere. (Believe me, we have looked) Connor is collecting all the flavors. I haven’t mustered up the courage to try it yet. I suspect I am not missing much.

Saturday night, my Giants did not come to play.

So depressing to see after that big win at Minnesota. Are the Eagles that good? I hope not. At least the Cowboys lost last night as well.

BTW. What the heck was up with this finalĀ play in the Cowboy/49er game? Bizarre!

Here was the forecast for Monday on Sunday morning.

Yuck.

These came out of the closet for the first time this winter.

Only 68 days until spring!

I hope you had a great weekend. -Kevin

Dictionary.com’s word of the year is ‘6-7.’ But is it even a word and what does it mean?

Go ahead and roll your eyes. Shrug your shoulders. Or maybe just juggle your hands in the air. Dictionary.com's word of the year isn't even really a word. It's the viral term "6-7" that kids and teenagers can't stop repeating and laughing about and parents and teachers can't make any sense of.
