My weekend in six photos.

My weekend in six photos

It seems every weekend is filling up with events, gatherings and commitments so if you find the time to get a couple of chores done, you get to it.

Now is a good time to spread the mulch. I got 18 bags of brown/natural (never red) since they were on sale.

And I ended up using 15 of those 18 bags right here.

By June this garden bed is so colorful. All due to my wife Ann’s efforts. (Although I spread the mulch)

I also have to get going on this……

Two cords of wood to stack here.

It was a big weekend for kid events. On Saturday we headed to Fitchburg for Amelia’s cheer event.

Have I mentioned how incredibly loud these events are? So loud I considered taking OUT my hearing aids.

On Sunday, Connor’s indoor soccer team won their division championship game.

Sunday’s will be a bit freer from now on.

I attempted another long run on Sunday.

I did not have the energy I usually have. I had a tough time with the hills and my stamina that usually arrives after mile three just wasn’t there on Sunday. I have got to work on this as we are a month away from the WMASS Mother’s Day Half Marathon.

I encourage you to consider pledging my run! All proceeds go to the Cancer Connection in Northampton who provides cancer diagnosis services to all of western Massachusetts.

I hope you had a good weekend!
