My Weekend in Three Photos

Is it me or are these summer weekends flying by?
So glad the heat wave is over. It was so nice to sleep with the windows open last night. We gave the air conditioners and our electric bill a break.

Saturday is a typical errand day around our house. This past Saturday I had to rent a Rug-Doctor as our puppy Abby has been experiencing some digestive issues. Let’s just leave it at that.
By mid-afternoon I was off to Monadnock Speedway as I announce there every other Saturday night with my new friend Dave Sutherland. The racing was good! The season is coming to an end in September so if you have not made it up the high-banked quarter mile in Winchester, NH, you better do it soon!

On Sunday, Ann had to work so I brought the kids up to Harrisville, NH where my in-laws have a house on Harrisville Pond. We swam and relaxed. I caught someone out on the pond learning to sail. There was a slight breeze and the conditions were good.
I left the kids there to spend the night which means Ann and I had a chance to go out to dinner by ourselves! Amazing. It never happens with a 12 year old and a 9 year old.
We choose the Arlington Inn that is just down the street from us in Winchester. The weather was perfect for eating outside. Another great summer weekend! -Kevin
