My weekend in three photos.

OK. Count how many birds you see in this photo.

I count twenty one! (Don’t zoom in too far or you will just find what our dog deposits in the yard) This is the time of year when a large number of birds will come to the feeder at one time. The ground is covered with ice and hard snow so they are relying on the feeders. My theory is that they all team up and travel together so when one finds a feeder they all get to take advantage of the seed buffet. I have been filling this feeder once a day for the past three days. The birds are going to need to go on a diet soon.

A good part of this weekend was spend de-cluttering.

What you see here is the contents of one box of many that was in my daughter Amelia’s room. From now on, any gifts my daughter gets have to be no smaller than a shoe box and something she actually needs! TOO MANY TOYS! We made good progress but there is a ways to go. Pray for us.

On my walk with Abby yesterday I came across this….

They are playing hockey on our community baseball fields! All that rain last week and the cold temperatures this weekend have created mini ice rinks everywhere. I thought this was really neat to see.

I hope you had a good weekend! -Kevin
