My weekend in three photos.

The last weekend in February was low key for me.

Cleaning, a trip to the dump, a stop at my favorite Manning Hill Farm and dinner with friends took up Saturday. (I did try some beer from Peru. It was OK. We still have the good stuff here in the good ole USA.)

Walking the dog, CBS Sunday Morning, a Kiwanis Meeting and Connor’s indoor soccer game took up Sunday.

For some reason, we have not been getting many birds at the feeders. The squirrels are taking full advantage. I did catch a woodpecker on Saturday at our suet stand.

He blended in so nicely with the falling snow.

And I caught him mid-flight on take-off too.

The sunset yesterday was pretty impressive. It was one of those moments when the sun found an opening in the clouds and acted like its own spotlight.

Per usual, the photo does not do justice to seeing it with my own eyes.

Snow is on the way for tonight and tomorrow. We have reached the point of winter where if it does snow, it should not be around very long!

I hope you had a good weekend!
