My weekend in three photos

I am just going to come out and say it. This has past weekend was the best weather weekend of the summer so far. If only we did not get those torrential rains on Friday! Valley farmers, you have my sympathy.

Saturday morning the dog-walking conditions were perfect. I took Abby, rather Abby took me on a long walk around Winchester to begin the day. Saturday was then spent mowing the lawn, cleaning and enjoying a wonderful meal with friends.

I ran Sunday morning.

I have not done much distance running lately. I have not run over four miles in quite a while. I have noticed that my energy level isn’t what it used to be when I have time to run. I am guessing diet and age have a lot to do with it. Something to work on I suppose. I have never been a big distance runner in the summer anyways. To hot! Or in this summer’s case, too rainy!

It is nice to know someone with a pool.

We were thankful to be invited to our relatives on Sunday afternoon for a pool get-together. A pool is one of those items that I am glad I don’t own. It seems like a lot of work for something that you can only use for a third of the year. Boats are in this category too. Nice to know someone with a boat, but to own one? Not exactly something I am interested in!

I hope you had a great weekend! -Kevin
