Alleged Tractor Supply shoplifters arrested

ORANGE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Two individuals have been apprehended after alleged shoplifting at a Tractor Supply store in Orange led to a police pursuit on Route 2 East on Friday morning.

The individuals were eventually stopped by Ashburnham Police with the use of “stop sticks.”

Orange Police officials say various other items were located in the vehicle consistent with the alleged shoplifting and other evidence of thefts, which may result in further criminal charges.

According to Orange Police:

As a result of this investigation, two males were taken into custody for the following:
Suspect 1:
• Shoplifting by Asportation; 3rd Offense
• Possession of Burglarious Tools
• Conspiracy
Suspect 2:
• Suspended/Revoked Operation of a Motor Vehicle; Subsequent Offense
• Shoplifting by Asportation; 3rd Offense
• Conspiracy
• Possession of Class B; Cocaine
• Suspect 2 also had four active warrants out for his arrest
