GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The annual Source to Sea Connecticut River Watershed cleanup took place this past Saturday, with the local Green River cleanup bringing in loads of trash and debris from not only the water but the shores and surrounding natural areas.

Dozens of tires, small appliances, and trash bags were carried up with the help of volunteers including local scout troops, the Sheriff’s Department, and many other community members.
