Athol street improvement projects nearing completion

ATHOL, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Athol Selectboard received updates on the Five Points, Crescent Street, and Freedom Street projects.

There were some delays due to the work requiring water mains to be shut down where they cross the Millers River.

Crescent Street work is expected to be complete by October 3rd, the Five Points project is on schedule, and the Freedom Street project is ahead of schedule and should be complete by mid to late October.
