Capital Improvement plan up for vote in Deerfield Special Town Meeting

DEERFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — This Wednesday, Deerfield residents will gather at Frontier Regional School for a Special Town Meeting to vote on several measures.

In the meeting warrant there is a vote on funding $638,000 in Capital Improvements for the current fiscal year. The plan includes $325,000 to fund the purchase of a new ambulance, $83,000 for two other vehicle replacements, a $50,000 sidewalk replacement plan and an architect for the Police Garage project.

The town will also be voting on funding $75,550 for increased insurance costs.
