Colrain firefighters rescue fawn at Barnhardt

COLRAIN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — On Friday morning, Colrain Fire rescued a trapped fawn from the Barnhardt Sewer Plant. Plant maintenance notified the department that the fawn had fallen into a 20-foot empty deep clarifier tank with the mother doe watching from outside. The fawn was safely rescued and released outside the fenced area.
