COLRAIN, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Colrain Fire Department has announced that they have been awarded a $9,398 state fire equipment grant. The funds will help the department purchase a thermal imaging camera and a quick deploy ground monitor.

The grant is from the Executive Office of Public Safety and Security program that awarded over 300 Massachusetts fire departments $5 million in equipment funds.
