GREENFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — As the Franklin County Technical School is working on the design for the new school building project, there are several informational community forums planned in the coming months to review the fiscal impact and the Massachusetts School Building Authority process with representatives from the architectural design team.

All sessions will be held at the Greenfield Community College Dining Commons and the first meeting is set for Monday, November 10th from 6 to 8 p.m.

From the Franklin County Technical School:
Franklin County Technical School invites community members, town officials, and residents to attend one of
three upcoming Informational Community Forums regarding the proposed new Franklin County
Technical School building project.
These sessions will provide an overview of the Massachusetts School Building Authority (MSBA) process, the
educational and facility needs driving this project, and how the proposal supports the future of vocational and
technical education across our 19-town district.
Representatives from the architectural design team and Owner’s Project Management firm will also be on
hand to present details of the proposed design, answer questions, and discuss the timeline and next steps. In
addition, the projected fiscal impact to the district towns will be communicated to ensure transparency and
understanding of the financial considerations involved.
