Montague launches new emergency alert system ahead of incoming storm

MONTAGUE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Town of Montague is ready to launch their new Emergency Alert System, Rave Alerts, designed to allow the town to communicate with residents and business owners about timely, critical information during emergencies and other important situations.

Even if enrolled in the previous alert system, everyone who would like to participate will have to text the word “Montague” to 77295 to receive the text alerts from the Town.

Town of Montague Goes Live with New Emergency Alert System: Rave Alerts

Montague, MA — As the region prepares for an incoming storm, the Town of Montague is pleased to announce the launch of its new Emergency Alert System, Rave Alerts, designed to provide residents and business owners with timely, critical information during emergencies and other important situations.

Rave Alerts will be used to send notifications about events such as severe weather, public safety incidents, road closures, emergency-related parking bans, and other urgent town-related updates. The system allows the Town to quickly communicate accurate information to the community when it matters most.

Participation in Rave Alerts is voluntary, and residents and business owners are encouraged to opt in. Signing up is quick and easy: simply text the word “Montague” to 77295 to receive text message alerts from the Town. Please note: even if you were signed up for a previous Town alert system, you will need to enroll again to receive alerts through Rave Alerts.

The Town of Montague encourages everyone who lives, works, or owns a business in Montague to enroll in Rave Alerts to stay informed and prepared.
