Motorcyclist strikes bear on Route 122

PETERSHAM, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A motorcycle accident caused by a collision with a bear took place Sunday near the New Salem town line on Route 122 in Petersham. The rider was seriously injured and transported by LifeFlight to the UMass Trauma Center.
