CHARLEMONT, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — After two years of efforts, the Franklin Land Trust has secured the conservation of 38.8 acres of farmland and forest in Charlemont. The land is located off Route 2 near the town’s village and contributes to the health of Mill Brook, a coldwater resource that empties into the Deerfield River.
