No major injuries in single vehicle accident on I-91 Tuesday

BERNARDSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Early Tuesday morning, at approximately 4:53 a.m., Bernardston Fire crews, State Police, and Northfield EMS responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on Interstate 91 northbound near mile marker 54.

The Penske van had gone off the road in photos shared by the Bernardston Fire Department. Both northbound lanes were temporarily closed while the van was extricated from it’s position off the road.

The single occupant of the van was evaluated on scene, but declined transport to the hospital. The van was towed by Byrne Towing.
