NORTHFIELD, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Residents in Northfield, Colrain, and Leyden may expect higher property tax bills following the Department of Revenue’s certification of the 2026 fiscal year tax rates. All three towns have lowered their tax rates, but due to increased property values, the average property tax bills are all expected to rise.
