ROWE, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — Rowe Elementary is considering joining the Mohawk Trail and Hawlemont Districts’ Sustainability Study and the town is inviting the community into the process with an in-person conversation at the school tomorrow, December 11th from 5 to 7 p.m.
School and town officials will be present to facilitate discussion on the school’s own baseline study and the possibility of joining up with Mohawk and Hawlemont school districts.
Rowe joining the districts could be a game-changer for the financial aspect of the sustainability study, also changing other aspects such as student population and plans for the intermediary steps to consolidate elementary schools prior to moving all students to the Mohawk campus.
