State releases $800K in workplace safety grants

BOSTON, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Healey-Driscoll Administration launched the SafetyWorks Initiative on Monday to improve safety in the workplace through $800,000 in grants to 160 organizations across the state to provide training, education, and other preventative measures.

The Initiative also includes a one-stop website with free technical consultation and safety resources for businesses to receive guidance and support.
