WHATELY, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — A 47 year-old Haverhill, New Hampshire man died Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on I-91 in Whately, according to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office.
The Haverhill man was the only occupant in the tractor-trailer truck which entered the median and collided with trees. The crash remains under investigation.

Single-vehicle tractor-trailer crash claims life of driver
WHATELY – A 47-year-old man from Haverhill, New Hampshire died Tuesday morning in a single-vehicle crash on Route 91 in Whately.
The man was the sole occupant of a tractor-trailer, which exited the southbound lane, entered the median, and collided with a grouping of trees before coming to rest. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by Whately EMS. The Office of the Chief Medical Examiner will determine the cause of death.
The crash remains under investigation. The Massachusetts State Police assigned to the Northwestern District Attorney’s Office, along with members of the State Police Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Section, the Crime Scene Services Section and the Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Section, responded to the scene.
