WARWICK, MA (FRANKLIN COUNTY NOW) — The Warwick Community School is reporting an 85% increase in enrollment over last year with 50 students enrolled for the 2025-2026 school year.

A new agreement with Mahar Regional School District allows Warwick to take in-state school choice students, who may now continue on to Mahar after elementary school for the school choice rate of $5,000 rather than the full tuition rate the town must pay for Warwick residents.

Students attending Warwick Community School have the choice to attend Pioneer or Mahar for middle and high school, although there is a new regional plan on the horizon that may change things. A vote on the plan will be coming to the member towns in late November.
